Dr. Walvekar is currently a Glaucoma surgeon at Shantilal Shanghvi Eye Institute (SSEI). She has completed her advanced training in glaucoma subspeciality at LV Prasad Eye Institute. During her post-graduation at Shri Kanchi Kamakoti medical trust hospital she was able to serve the underprivileged elders in the state of Tamil Nadu. Her area of interest includes secondary glaucoma and paediatric glaucoma. Her surgical interests include glaucoma filtering surgery, implants, and angle-based surgeries.
She has a keen interest in research and innovation. She believes in providing compassionate, equitable, and quality eye care to all.
