Cornea and External Eye Diseases

Our expert team specializes in treating Corneal, Conjunctival, Scleral and other external eye conditions

What is the cornea?

The Cornea is a transparent, protective layer covering the front of your eye. It forms the outer shell of the eye, along with the sclera (white part of the eye).

To see things clearly, the cornea needs to be transparent and allow light to pass through it easily. Anything that affects the corneal transparency, can potentially cause loss of vision.

When to seek help?

If you are having trouble seeing objects clearly, which may be sudden or for some days; having unusual pain, sensitivity to light, swelling or watering of eyes, you must get your eyes examined at the earliest.

In case of eye injuries or falling of foreign objects in the eye, consult an eye specialist immediately.
