DR. RADHIKA KRISHNAN

Dr Radhika Krishnan is a an anaesthesiologist and Clinical Epidemiologist with 15 years’ experience in the public health field. A dedicated professional, she has a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing vision health programs across diverse environments from urban slums and tribal regions in India and parts of Africa. Skilled in strategizing, program development, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, she is a strong communicator with a passion for making a difference.

Skilled in regional anaesthesia, her anaesthesia practice scope includes the following surgical areas: Obstetrics & Gynaecology & Ophthalmology. She effortlessly handles her commitments in the operation theatre as well as in the community as a public health professional. In addition to clinical excellence and program management, she has a keen interest in public health research and has led several programs.

She has been on several collaborative projects, she served as Co-Investigator in a multicentric study - SMART INDIA . Funded by the Medical Research Council, UK, this was a multi-centre statistical and economical modelling of risk-based stratified and personalised screening for complications of diabetes in India (SMART India)
