Squint or strabismus, also known as crossed eyes, is a condition where the eyes are not properly aligned. This can lead to poor depth perception, double vision, and other vision problems. Treatment may include corrective glasses, eye patches, vision therapy, or eye muscle surgery.
If your child is having trouble seeing objects clearly at school or home, has developed bad handwriting, is frequently missing out on words in writing work or sometimes experiencing frequent falling, then this could be a undiagnosed refractive error (eye power) causing blurred vision in the child.
If your child has intermittent or constant inward (towards the nose) or outward deviation (away from the nose) of either eye from birth or anytime in early childhood, you should seek immediate consultation with a pediatric ophthalmologist.
Our state-of-the-art center is equipped with the latest technology and tools to help diagnose and treat pediatric eye conditions, complex squints and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
